In 2018, homebrewers Daniel Chocron, Ignacio Montenegro, Iker Elorriaga, and Juan-Manuel Torres took a leap of faith, relocated to Miami from their native Venezuela, and founded Tripping Animals Brewing Company in the heart of Doral, Florida. We’re so glad they did! For years now, we’ve been big fans of their story and beer alike - especially their fabulous sours. Next week, we’re thrilled to welcome co-founder Iker Elorriaga to Atlanta for our monthly Fizz Ed beer tastings! Get your tix here! Even more exciting, Iker will be bringing along a crazy drop of Tripping Animals beer never before seen in Georgia!
If you just can’t wait until next week, we’ve got great news - we did get some fresh Tripping Animals brews in just a couple of weeks ago, and we’ve still got a little left to share! Read all about our favorites currently on the shelf and secure your spot at one of next week’s tastings in West End and Fayetteville - you don’t want to miss this one!
And sliding in here with Exciting News! We have our Pre-Sale live for the fresh drops from Other Half that arrive in our shop on Monday! Get yours ahead of time before they leave our shelves. We'll have them packed up and ready to go for pick up or delivery! Back to Tripping Animals...
Pineapple Under the Sea $12.99/2pk
This absolutely delicious, 4-star rated sour is conditioned with loads of pineapple and coconut cream and was brewed in collaboration with Tin Barn Brewing. We always love Tripping Animals label art, too, and we can definitely appreciate a good SpongeBob reference.
Hound of Hades $12.99/2pk
This collab with Mortalis Brewing is a sour conditioned with marshmallows, raspberries, sweet cherry, and boysenberries. This one is thiccc, and the flavors play together so nicely, making it well deserving of its 4.2 Untappd score.
No Mames 12.99/4pk
Tripping Animals may be known for their sours, but don’t sleep on their core lager! No Mames is a crisp, clean, massively refreshing Mexican lager with subtle notes of flaked corn. Limitlessly crushable, beyond satisfying!
Stay Bullish $15.99/2pk
This 4.1-star imperial stout is conditioned with coffee, Madagascar vanilla, and cacao nibs - each flavor is present without one overpowering the others, and it’s decadent without being too sweet. Similar story as No Mames - Tripping may be best known for their sours, but their dark beers are equally fantastic!
