The First Fake Fall?!

Aug 23, 2024

How lovely have the mornings been this week—60 degrees with humidity levels that are actually comfortable. Sure, we’ll be right back in the high 90s by next week, but we thought this lovely little preview of Fall would be a great time to talk about all the seasonal beers that just hit our shelves!

LAGERS FOR YOUR LEDERHOSEN

While Oktoberfest officially kicks off at noon (Munich time) the second to last Saturday of each September, we have plenty of fantastic, freshly imported festbiers and Märzen in-house for you to kick off your celebration just a tiny bit early.

Ayinger Oktoberfest - Probably our favorite imported brew of the season. Lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops.

Weihenstephaner Festbier - True Bavarian style festbier from the oldest brewery in the world!

LOCAL FALL FAVORITES

Monday Night Oktoberfest - A German-style Märzen, this lager boasts a robust malt bill with notes of toasted Bavarian pretzel and biscuits.

Wild Leap Oktoberfest - We love Wild Leap for their well-known Alpha Abstraction and Side Bae hazy DIPA series, but don’t sleep on their traditional styles!

NON-ALC OPTIONS, TOO!

Athletic Oktoberfest - This Festbier-style lager pours a sunny golden hue with light bitterness that balances the slightly sweet body.

Untitled Art Oktoberfest - Rich caramel and Vienna malts for body with a crisp finish courtesy of Cascade hops. Yes please!

A PUMPKIN PREVIEW?

Dogfish Head Punkin Ale - This brown ale brewed with pumpkin, brown sugar, and spices just returned and is one of everyone’s favorite seasonal hits!

Timber Ales Fields of Fall - Timber Ales is known for their incredible stouts, and Fields of Fall is no exception. Brewed with pumpkins and conditioned on cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla beans, this one is not to be missed.
