There must be a pig somewhere that has sprouted wings and taken to the sky, because we have an incoming drop of Boston-based TRILLIUM beers headed to Hop City! Seriously folks, this is not a drill. Beers we didn't think we'd ever get our hands on down here in the ATL... Recognized as one of the top 5 best breweries in the world multiple times... Yes, that Trillium... "It's God tier stuff", says staffer Jared. Here's the intel:
A few sixtels and a very limited number of cans from Trillium Brewery will be making their way to Hop City Krog and West End early next week. More info on what will be arriving is described below. As for when, we expect to see the goods Tuesday, April 11, but stay tuned to our social channel to know exactly when products make it in the door. And hey, we know many of you may want to load up as much as you can, but we aim to play fair. Limited purchase quantities will be in place so that we can spread the special Trillium love to as many of our customers as possible.
How did we get so lucky to land Trillium? It's all thanks to the upcoming Little Beer festival co-hosted by Good Word Brewing & the City of Duluth on Saturday, April 15th on the Town Green. The third annual event will be celebrating low(er) gravity beers. Think lots of great lagers from a number of fantastic breweries (but expect to find other sessionable styles as well). Hint: Barriehaus is one of them. Even as verified Hopheads we always love and appreciate a well-made, clean lager and few do them better than Barriehaus. We're super excited they'll be stopping by Hop City to host a tap takeover while they're in town (Thursday, April 13 @ Krog from 6:00 - 8:00 pm).
