We Are SO EXCITED To Finally Have Birmingham District Cans

It seems almost unnecessary to make an introduction at this point, but for those that somehow still are not familiar, Birmingham District Brewing Company has been diligently creating and serving up some of the most rock-solid brews anywhere in town since 2018, and continue to brew an impressive variety of styles today.

Lose Your Way has quickly become one of the most popular IPA's in the city, and their rotating cast of fruited sour beers has made a name for itself in its own right. The lager program is just as good. These folks honestly just do everything really well.

Well, they figured out how to squeeze a canning line into their small facility, and they've been hard at work canning up their fantastic liquid. And now it's finally here! Check out the first three canned offerings from these not-so-newcomers.

LOSE YOUR WAY
District has displayed a full range of IPA capability, from classic, bitter American IPA's, to full-blown, New England style haze-bombs. This lands somewhere in the middle, skewing towards hazy, but proudly displaying hallmarks of each pole. Bright citrus and tropical flavors shine through, while a relatively crisp body and moderate bitterness anchor it and make it oh-so drinkable. An endlessly crushable daily driver IPA.

IRISH STOUT
File this under, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. District approached this simple yet craveable style with reverence and restraint, and the result is perfectly utilitarian and delicious. Coming in at a modest 4.5% ABV, this is the perfect beer to drink pint after pint of during the upcoming St. Patrick's festivities. Think a slightly brighter and bolder Guinness.

IMPERIAL LANAI
The popularity of fruited sour beers seems like it will never stop growing, and it can be hard to stand out in the crowd. Some breweries push the fruit concentration into smoothie territory, some breweries ratchet up the enamel-stripping acidity. District excels in creating thoughtful balance. Lanai has just the right blend of ripe, tart pineapple and sweet juicy mango. It balances its moderate tartness with a whiff of sweetness, and a prickly carbonation. A delightful, absurdly drinkable tropical treat.
