Scar of the Sea is a husband and wife operation owned by Mikey and Gina Giugni. Their zinfandel has sparked somewhat of a cult following in recent months, including making The New York Times’ top ten zinfandels to drink right now. It has a medium ruby color and smells of tart cherries, cranberries, fernet, menthol and potpourri.
