Spooky Beers: The Other Other Fall Seasonals

Sep 28, 2023
We've already touched on some of our favorite Oktoberfest & Pumpkin beers on Hop City shelves, but this time of year it's also about boo-zy delights that make Halloween truly spook-tacular! Costumes, candy and adult treats - snag these for the party you're hosting or attending (you'll be a hit!), but hurry, as these fun, festive beers are a treat that won't hang around long!

Mason Ale Works Bride of Dankenstein (West Coast style IPA) and Dankenstein's Monster (hazy DIPA) play off each other to deliver a hoppy union. Bride is lighter and more fruit forward, whereas Dankenstein is big and piney. Look for both to also be on draft at Krog bar soon.

Complete with a wicked ABV of 6.66%, Allagash's Haunted House is a Dark Ale with a rich dark-brown color, coffee aromas and a mild bitterness (also currently on tap at West End). Beer Zombies House on Hazy Hill may be light in color but is big on flavor, with the added guava helping to unearth the fruity subtleness of the hops.

Channel your inner Hulk with Hop Smash (also from Mason Ale Works). Like the art and name imply, it's a big double dry hopped hazy DIPA featuring Mosaic and Galaxy. After flexing your taste buds there, why not embark on a Halloween candy-themed journey with Skygazer Watercolor Series Spooky Froots? It's thick, tart and smooth without being too overly sweet - a delightful treat!
