Folks: we’ve got a real treat in store for y’all, and trust us - this is no April Fool’s joke! Our pals at Trillium are sending a surprise springtime drop of four fresh IPAs along with a crispy collab with one of everyone’s favorite local breweries!
Launched in 2013 by JC and Esther Tetreault, Trillium Brewing Company is a love letter to New England and its founders’ connection to their community. The brewery has since become among the most respected in the country, and its famously hard-to-find beers have only appeared in limited amounts once or twice before in the Atlanta market. We’re getting a little more than we got last time, but you know these will move fast! Products are available for preorder and are expected to land at our Krog and West End locations on Monday April 8. Read all about the incoming brews and secure yours now to avoid missing out!
Congress Street $27.99/4pk
Trillium’s flagship IPA showcases the distinctively aromatic Australian Galaxy. Owing to that fabulous hop, the nose bursts with pine, citrus rind, melon, and pineapple. On the palate, pronounced flavors of peach, clementine, and tropical fruits are balanced out by moderate bitterness and a light, biscuity malt character.
Mass Ave $28.99/4pk
The introduction to Trillium’s Avenue IPA Series, Mass Ave expands upon the brewery’s Street Series and that effort’s focus on single dry-hop expressions. Pouring a hazy and glowing deep straw yellow, this imperial IPA is generously dry-hopped with Mosaic, which conjures a myriad of tropical and citrus aromas. Expect notes of juicy pineapple rings, dried mango, pulpy orange juice, and grapefruit zest. Medium-bodied with a soft, mouth-coating texture, Mass Ave finishes with a kiss of sweetness and a balancing fresh-cut grass bitter character.
Fort Point $27.99/4pk
Trillium’s signature American pale ale balances light, crisp, malt character with an abundance of hop-derived aromatics and flavors from the use of Citra and Columbus. The fragrant nose is fresh citrus, tropical fruit, and peach. Bold flavors of pineapple and mango mix with dank notes of zesty citrus and fresh pine needles. With the smooth mouthfeel, gentle bitterness, and dry finish, Fort Point is a standard daily-drinker.
Congo Vanilla Crown and Crate $33.99/4pk
This big imperial IPA is brewed with Congo vanilla beans, honey, and lactose. Pouring a soft canary yellow color, Congo Vanilla Crown and Crate's opaque, glowing haze prepares the senses for an array of citrus and tropical aromas. The palate opens with a wash of pineapple sorbet, candied mango, and honeysuckle, with each sip rounded out by a creamy vanilla character and touch of sweetness. Plush and medium-bodied, Congo Vanilla Crown and Crate finishes with just a touch of grapefruit-like bitterness.
Premium Lager (Halfway Crooks collab) $23.99/4pk
This collaboration with hometown favorite Halfway Crooks draws inspiration from pre-Prohibition lagers. It’s brewed with Pilsner malt from Valley Malt out of Holyoke, MA, and Trillium-grown corn in the grist, and is hopped with a blend of Hersbrucker, Hallertau Mittelfruh, Saaz, and Magnum. The finished beer features a delicious, spicy noble hop character with a light sweetness, an assertive bitterness, and a light-to-medium body.
